dandolopartners is seeking an Associate Director to join their team for a fixed-term, 12-month position to cover a period of maternity leave for the current Associate Director. This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven individual to join one of Australia’s leading public policy and strategy consultancies.
Based in Melbourne, the Associate Director will form part of a four-person leadership group, contributing to setting the direction of the firm, developing staff and securing new client engagements. They will be responsible for leading projects, providing strategic advice and working with and around government, universities and NFPs. The Associate Director will report to the Managing Director and will be expected to be self-directed, able to manage several project teams autonomously. Given the limited term of the contract, there are no expectations about generating new clients or assignments.
Note - an Associate Director at dandolopartners broadly aligns with titles slightly below partner at other firms. For example: Associate Director, Associate Partner, Director and Senior Engagement Manager.
